Hi, hello, welcome!
My loves! It’s about time my site gets a revamp. I’ve been blogging for a little over two years now and I’m miles away from where I started. See, my site wasn’t initially designed for longevity. I honestly thought that blogging wasn’t something that I would ever excel at, but here I am, two years later and currently making it into a career. Wow.
I’ve come a long way since my baby slut beginnings, and that journey has made me find my brand, find my writing and find myself. As a graphic design nerd I’ve been looking at my current site aesthetic within the last six months and thinking that it just doesn’t fit who I’ve come to be. When I was presented with the idea that I could do anything I wanted for my fourth-year multimedia thesis, I choose to do something blog focused (and let’s be honest, I wouldn’t have worked on it if it wasn’t). So here I am, redesigning my site as part of a school project. Amazing. But of course, I couldn’t stop there. I felt like “just a website redesign” wasn’t as much work as a professional university thesis required. I decided to add a launch party because I both hate and love myself.
My home of Hamilton, Ontario has no permanent queer spaces right now, and for a city of 761,000 people, that’s ridiculous. While I know internal factors have influenced this, it’s unacceptable for a city of our size. Our city also has no public sex-positive spaces or events, beyond two chain sex stores and a quiet BDSM store. We need more, and our community needs more. Part of throwing my launch party was to start that; I want to make sex-positive and queer spaces more accessible to the #HamOnt community. Everyone deserves healthy (and fun) representations of sex within their communities, and I’m taking the leap of trying to make that happen for at least one night.
March 24th, 2018 @ Gift Shop (21 Rebecca St) | 9 PM – 2 AM
I’ve hired local femme DJ Rosé to spin some tunes for our dance party, and Taylor J Mace, good friend and fierce kinkster, to hit all the (consenting) bums at a spanking booth. Both of these loves were must have people at my event. And luckily, my student budget won’t be completely parched because of my amazing sponsors, Le Wand Massager and SheVibe. Both of these companies are ones who want to make a positive impact in the world through sexuality products, and I can’t thank them enough for funding me and this project. Go check out their stuff, I highly recommend them!
I have amazing products donated for the giveaway from stellar toy companies b-Vibe, Blush Novelties, Come As You Are, Doxy, Hot Octopuss, Satisfyer, Tenga & iroha, We-Vibe and Vixen Creations! I can’t wait to announce specifics on what I have in store, but you’ll be sure to leave happy… I’m also receiving a fun product for folks to test out during my party. I’m honoured to announce the CowGirl, a rideable Sybian-esque vibrator, will be at the event to rumble your genitals while the night goes on! There will be buckets of free lube to grab too, provided by SUTIL and Peepshow Toys.
Check out the rest of the event description, included below for more details! Also keep an eye on my Twitter, Instagram and Facebook event for more info as things are announced! For those of you who are unable to attend my party, don’t worry. There’s going to be plenty of chances to get in on the fun from a distance. Keep an eye on my site around March 24th, and maybe you’ll find some ways to win some goodies…
Red Hot Suz is going through a redesign and relaunch as apart of my multimedia undergrad thesis. My brand, website and logo are now hotter than ever. To celebrate I’m hosting the sexiest, smuttiest party #HamOnt has ever seen in collaboration with Gift Shop (Hamilton’s premier LGBTQIA+ venue) and you’re invited!
Featuring tunes by femme fatale DJ Rosé (sponsored by Le Wand Massager), a spanking booth by professional kinkster Taylor J Mace of Feisty Fox Films (sponsored by SheVibe), porn installations by Canadian queer smut company Ciné Sinclaire, a rideable Sybian-esque sex machine called the Cowgirl, and a BIG giveaway with prizes that will literally make you scream.
✨ The first 50 people to show up will get a free pin from the upcoming SUGARBONES x Red Hot Suz collab. ✨
> Cover: Pay what you can ($5 suggested donation), $3 Coat Check
> Dress Code: Kinky, queer, fetish wear, glitter, and extra outfits are highly encouraged! But any clothes that you feel comfortable and/or sexy is totally cool! No exposed genitals (nipples are a-OK)!
> Rules: Consent & inclusion are a priority for this event. If you’re racist, transphobic, fatphobic, whorephobic, slut-shaming, sexist, ableist, or generally gross, you will get kicked out.
> Accessibility: Unfortunately the venue is not wheelchair accessible.
If the spanking or dancing is too titillating for you to handle, check out the chill out zone by the couches to snack on seductive treats, draw in #NSFW colouring books or write in the guest book. The Safer Gigs team will be running the door and providing harm reduction & safer sex info and supplies!
~ Stay tuned for giveaway announcements ~
This is a 19+ event, and you will see nudity, kinky and erotic subject matter throughout the evening.
