For this review roundup, I have three different dildos that I had some mixed feelings about. I’ve been on a mission to acquire more dildos in the last year, and while I have stumbled across some new faves, there have been a bunch that have been to mediocre for my vagina’s tastes. Let’s see how I felt about these three…
Tantus Hero
Glittery pink, and big, the Hero dildo was one of the only new Tantus toys that really caught my eye. I looked at it on my computer for months before finally asking for it to review. Thick, yet stout, with simple balls to grip onto for easy thrusting and placement on surfaces. Yes, I was SO excited to get the Hero inside me. That was… until it was actually inside me.
See the Hero, as I mentioned before, had a lot about it that I love. The look of the head, the 2” diameter shaft and, ugh that pink glitter. But what I quickly realized, moments after it was inside of me, it was missing two main ingredient to make it pleasurable to me: a curve and some squish. I’m sad to announce but straight dildos just don’t appeal to me that much, especially if they’re this short. I also am very particular about my silicone softness. Tantus’s Super Soft formula is more of a medium-hard to me. The Hero isn’t squishy at all. Even it’s thickness isn’t enough to save it. Actually, I think if it were bigger I would be able to enjoy it. I guess I really have ventured into size queen land.. the Hero felt average and unfulling.
If you yourself like straight, hard dildos and are looking for something in the Hero’s size range, who knows it may work for you! I think the toy I was looking for out of the Hero was a fully pink slightly smaller version of the Halfling, a thicc squishy dildo I already own and love. If you like a thick, curved dildo with a detailed head, I would recommend that instead.
Thanks to Tantus for sending me the Hero in exchange for an unbiased and honest review. You can cop it for $60 USD through SheVibe! (it also comes in a gorgeous teal colour).

Hole Punch Toys Chewie
Foreskin dildo’s aren’t common on the sex toy market. And neither are ice cream butt plugs and moonshine bottle dildos! Let me introduce to you the wonderful world of Hole Punch Toys, an indie silicone manufacturer who creates art to put inside your body. I was drawn to their toy, the Chewie, both for its formidable foreskin, girth and Star Wars character reference. Much like the Hero, I totally thought it was a shoe in for me to love this toy but….
The silicone is too hard for my vagina! That’s the ONLY problem I have with the Chewie and I’m SO mad about it. This is my first toy from Hole Punch, so I wasn’t sure what I would expect out of “medium soft silicone” but damn y’all, it’s too hard for me! The golden dildo’s subtle curve and gorgeous details make me salivate by looking at it, and wow, is it fun to tongue on camera. But the density of the toy makes it no fun at all for me. I wish I had specially requested a softer version; for now it’s going to be an art piece on my dildo shelf.
The Chewie is so cute and creative, and I know I would like it if it was softer. If you can handle harder dildos I would recommend it if you like it’s aesthetic design. Hole Punch Toys also has some amazing other products in their selection, which I would check out with my silicone softness review in mind. Next time I try one of their toys, I know I’ll be needing something with a little more cush.

Blush Novelties Avant D3 Summer Fling
The Avant D3’s design is summer-y and salacious, with bright warm stripes and soft prominent ridges down the shaft. Of course I wanted to review it, it’s the ME dildo out of the Avant line. I already love Blush’s silicone density, softness and suction cups, so I was prepared to see how this dildo
I loved the idea of the pronounced head, with the cascading rollercoaster swells, and for the most part, my vagina likes it. Each of the bumps provides sensation to my G-spot as I trust, and it’s able to reach back to my A-spot simultaneously. While the toy isn’t especially targeted, it’s still a delightful ride. In my world, the Summer Fling is a medium size, but I could see it being on the bigger side for some users. I use it as a transition toy between non-realistic silicone dildos I own, so I’m able to go to my bigger toys without struggle. Because it has multiple dimensions and dense silicone, the dildo isn’t really what I would consider a starter toy for myself; it has a little too much happening for it to be a warm up toy (I recommend a healthy glob of lube).
I wouldn’t say it’s as amazing as say the NoFrillDo B (which I recommend if you like the look of the Summer Fling but need something smaller) but it’s still a decent toy. The Avant D3 isn’t on my must have list but it’s great if you’re someone who likes toys on the thicker side with bumps and deep penetration, then this soft suction cupped dido could be perfect for you!
