A year after I finished high school, I had sex for the first time and promptly moved halfway across the country (not related to the sex but so I could attend university in Hamilton, Ontario). Not wasting a minute, I took to Tinder with newfound confidence I hadn’t had ever in my life, racking up sexual experience like Likes on a beauty bloggers Instagram feed. I spent my first two years of school discovering the power of pleasure (and the pitfalls of the patriarchy), shaping my sexual interests and expectations along the way. Sex wasn’t just an activity that made me feel good; it was a lifestyle with a complex culture surrounding it, one that I was fascinated by.
Red Hot Suz arose out of my fascination for sex in early 2016, when I stumbled upon the sex blogging community through Twitter. As a Communication and Multimedia major, blogging and writing came second nature, so when I realized I could combine my technical skills with my sex interests, I picked it up immediately in hopes of getting free sex toys and making like-minded friends. Two years later, here I am, finishing up my degree (as expected), launching my career as a freelance creator and social media guru in the sex industry (to my surprise), and still swiping my way upwards through life. Back that up with a 22,000+ combined social media audience and growing, and hey, Red Hot Suz is a professional brand.
While the majority of my freelance work comes through collaborating with companies for promotion on my own networks, I’ve contributed my writing to websites like Elite Daily, The SwingTowns Non-Monogamy Blogs, and Top5-WebCams.com, as well as in print, like The Silhouette. I’ve been featured on the Voluptuous Life with April Flores on Vivid Radio, on Kinkly.com and have made guest appearances the Dildorks podcast and Sex City Radio.
I blogged my way into Kinkly’s Top 100 Sex Bloggers, and Molly’s Daily Kiss’ Top 100 Sex Bloggers in 2017, taking the number ten spot on both lists. I also was awarded the number nine spot in Kinkly’s Readers Choice category that year. Blogging has also gotten me into modelling opportunities; I’ve walked for Hayley Elsaesser in Toronto Fashion Week 2018, and modelled for Bettie Fatal’s Summer 17 Collection. You can find more exciting things I’ve participated in on my press page.
In 2018, I re-launched my website and brand for my fourth-year undergrad thesis, and I threw a party in Hamilton, Ontario to celebrate. That party is tonight so if all goes well, I’m expecting there to be 100-140 people in attendance throughout the evening and to make a statement in my city. Hamilton has become my home over the past four years, and while I love it, there needs to be a major change to create a nurturing queer scene, which is something I hope to add to my work in the future. This party is a small step in that direction, with hopes of creating more sex-positive and queer environments.
The dirty details
I’m a femme queer bisexual cis woman, who is open to all types of relationship structures (I don’t have a preference between monogamy and non-monogamy).
I enjoy group sex if I’m in the right mood (summer tends to be my group sex season), and love to be the unicorn in threesomes with couples. Kink-wise, I identify as a submissive and love being bratty when I have the chance. Caring, but stern dominants steal my heart (I’m definitely a Daddy’s girl).
Tinder is the main way I date people, so much so that I was deeply upset when I got banned from it for posting a photo they deemed inappropriate. Luckily, I managed to get back on, but I didn’t get back my three-year history, 25,000 profile likes and 1,700+ current matches.
In addition to my work as a sexuality influencer I’m a cybersex worker too, and sell nudes to a variety of internet people who want to look at me naked! I mainly use Patreon to do this, but I also offer one-to-one sales and personal cam shows. Check out my Work with Me page for more info.
I’m also a fat slut, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
If you want to treat me, I have wishlists at Amazon (normy things) and Come As You Are (sexy things).
Everything else
When I’m not working on the blog, I’m a lazy student, supporter of the growing queer party scene in Hamilton, and an avid watcher of quality television. To be honest, I’m never not working; curating my Instagram feed and Stories, plus keeping up with Twitter, is a full-time job in itself.
Frequenting #HamOnt coffee shops is a pastime of mine, especially because I need to get out of the house (#selfemployedlyfe). My preferred caffeinated beverage is a mocha, and my preferred alcoholic drink is a double rum & cock. Having a sweet snack helps my work ethic, so you’ll almost always find me with some form of baked good. Not cafe related, but one of my favourite breakfast/brunch foods is crepes and I make them the best.
As a high femme, makeup and cute clothes have a special place in my heart and bedroom. If I’m not wearing anything pink, something is wrong. I once had a guy I was dating get preemptively mad that I might bring sparkles into his house. I dumped him.
I’m a white and generally able person, and I’m privileged in other ways as well (cis, lower-middle class, not-visibly queer). I try my best to acknowledge those privileges, but in the instances when I do not, I’m accepting of any call outs directed my way.
My current sex toy collection can be found on my Toybox page. Check the emoji legend to find out quickly which ones I love, admire and really dislike.
